It was about time I tried a wreck. I chose trumpeter's nice KV-2 and I will do it OOB with the only exception of some touch up and a fine Aber turned aluminium barrel. This: is the inspiration pic. As usual I started assembling the lower hull: I replaced the kit's mg with a cut syringe needle, as the one provided wasn't hollow. I then switched to the turret: Again, the kit's mg had the same issue as the one in the hull, so again I replaced it with a syringe needle: That done, I did the battle damage that has stopped the beast: Next up wheels, tracks and fenders. Hope you like it, all comments, criticism, suggestions are warmly welcome

Looks awesome so far Luigi. It's a great kit, and makes a great subject as a wrecked hulk!

I'm with JT, looks awesome. Those Trumpy KV kits just fall together but are great to paint and weather.

Thanks guys I had the time to do something more, today, too little to show. Mostly boring removal of pin marks on the tracks...

Yeah those kit tracks have some horrible pin marks. Good luck with that Luigi. Looking forward when this jits the spray booth.

Hi mate, those pin marks are a real mojo killer. Maybe this helps; the last set of magic tracks I did had them too. I glued the tracks up first then made a sanding stick from a wooden iceblock stick with sandpaper glued on. Then sanding them all at once. The tracks inside the end runs, round the sprockets couldn't be sanded but they were not visible when on the tank. Maybe that helps.

Coming along very nicely. Cool idea for sanding in tight places too.
